The rain fell

An 80’s movie gone bad

Yellow rainbow

In the sky

The wind blew

Moving the world around

Lonely owl

In the field

The snow changed to rain

And back again

Soil beneath cold feet

They gripped the blade

But bled in the brain

At night the baby cried

Corn row maze

Like the hearts intent

And in the day the adult tried
